FIT–YunTech Joint Workshop 2026(FIT–YunTech 聯合工作坊 2026 邀稿啟事)
Proposal for FIT – YunTech Joint Seminar
To promote international academic exchange between FIT and YunTech, we propose to organize the FIT – YunTech Joint Seminar on March 16–17, 2026. This seminar will serve as a platform for graduate students to present their research in an international setting, build academic networks with peers from multiple institutions, and foster potential collaborative research among faculty members.
1. Objectives

- Provide graduate students with valuable experience in presenting at an international, conference-style event
- Facilitate academic and cultural exchange among students from different universities
- Foster dialogue and explore opportunities for future collaborative research among faculty members
2. Event Details

- Date: March 16–17, 2026
- Venue: YunTech
- Participating Universities: FIT and YunTech
- Target Participants: Graduate students (Master’s and PhD programs), faculty members
- Language: English
- Number of presentations: 30 or more
- Number of participants: 50 or more
3. Tentative Program
Day 1 (Mar. 16)

- Panel Discussion: Faculty-led discussion on research collaboration strategies and thematic convergence

- Campus and Lab Tour: Guided visits to laboratories and facilities at the host institution to explore shared research interests
Day 2 (Mar. 17)

- Tutorial Lectures: Invited talks by faculty members from participating universities, introducing advanced research topics and methodologies
- Graduate Student Research Presentation Sessions: Oral and poster presentations grouped by thematic areas
- Networking Session: Informal gathering for students and faculty to engage in cross-institutional discussions
4. Suggested Topic
Papers in the area related to engineering in general, and information engineering are welcome.
Suggested topics include, but need not be limited to:
- Electronic devices and materials
- Electric and hybrid vehicles
- Automation and Robotics
- Material Sciences and Engineering
- Chemistry and Biology
- Information Technology
- ♙rtificial Intelligence in Engineering Design
- Internet of Things (IoT) Systems
- Computer Graphics, network technology

- Sustainable Engineering Practices
5. Organizational Plan

- Co-organizers: FIT and YunTech
- Operational Support: Faculty members and graduate students from each institution
- Financial Responsibility: Each university will bear its own costs related to travel, accommodation, and local expenses
6. Schedule

- October - November, 2025: Recruitment of participating universities, faculty, and student presenters
- December 14, 2025: Deadline for abstract submissions
- Early January, 2026: Finalization of the seminar program and logistics
- February 15, 2026: Deadline for manuscript submission (2 pages)
- March 16-17, 2026: Seminar held at YunTech
- Late March – April, 2026: Post-event feedback collection and follow-up discussion on further collaboration

Faculty members and graduate students from YunTech who wish to participate are kindly asked to submit:
